Originally from New York, Amy has travelled and lived across much of Europe and Latin America. She is currently based in London, where she works as a freelance journalist. Prior to this she completed a journalism masters at City University.

Amy has written for a number of UK outlets, including magazines, newspapers, and NGOs. Her work has appeared in the New Statesman, Look, the Independent, the Institute for War and Peace Reporting, City Magazine, the Fife Herald, and the East Fife Mail. She has also written for the Cocha-Banner in Bolivia.

Her qualifications include a pending masters degree in International Journalism, and a masters degree in International Relations from St. Andrews University, where she recieved a First Class distinction.
